Matt helps Triune’s clients find financial peace by coming alongside them throughout the financial planning process. Matt loves that everyone is working toward the same objective at Triune—serving the clients—instead of competing. “It’s completely different than any other financial culture I’m aware of,” he says.
Matt’s lightning-strike money moment was learning that saving and giving are two of the most important aspects of financial peace. “The more you save helps your family’s future, but when you give, you are helping the future of others.” That’s why his favorite financial challenge is figuring out how giving can be incorporated into someone’s financial goals.
He wishes everyone knew that gaining financial freedom can lift a huge burden off families. “Financial freedom doesn’t mean you just get financial peace; you get mental peace as well,” Matt says.
When he’s not at Triune, Matt spends time with his wife, Kelsey. On cold winter mornings, you can find him duck hunting with his brother-in-law. Matt loves playing soccer, golf or doing anything that gets him outdoors. He’s actively involved at Serve Community Church. Matt graduated from Baker University with a Bachelors of Science in Business with a Management emphasis and was on the soccer team as a goalie.
